Mersmak Kök & Catering begins collaboration with Generation Waste to reduce food waste and thrive for sustainability.
Mersmak was founded in 2009 and has always had a genuine interest in sustainability on all levels. Mersmak is involved in creating a future where people, animals and nature live sustainably and in harmony.
With a passion for both food and people, the focus is on working with locally grown & organic ingredients from Scanian producers. All takeaway material is 100% recycled material.
Through the collaboration with Generation Waste, Mersmak Kök & Catering hopes to get a better overview of how much food is actually thrown away daily in their restaurants. They hope, with the help of the statistics generated by Generation Waste, to be able to reduce their food waste and increase the awareness of their employees and guests.
