Strömstad municipality begins collaboration with Generation Waste
Now we are spread among more municipalities in Sweden. Generation Waste already cooperates with many municipalities and receives excellent feedback about our application and services.
Our new collaboration is with Strömstad municipality. The municipality will be the first in Sweden to start measuring food waste in elderly care using Generation Waste and our application.
Strömstad municipality is simply taking new heights in its sustainability work together with us at Generation Waste. In addition to its investment in food waste, in 2016 Strömstad adopted a vision for 2030 to become a fossil-independent municipality. The municipality is growing and is often ranked as one of the municipalities where the most new companies are started. The hospitality industry and cross-border trade dominate, but there are also knowledge companies in environmental technology and biotechnology.
We are really happy to be part of the municipality's growth. Generation Waste's goal is to change people's behavior, reduce food waste and contribute to a better world. With Strömstad municipality, we are making sure to take another step in that direction!
