New year and new collaboration with Marholmen

Marholmen is a sustainable destination in all respects. Now Marholmen is starting a collaboration with Generation Waste to reduce food waste and thereby taking its sustainability work to new heights.

''We chose to start a collaboration with Generation Waste because it is a natural next step in our environmental work. It is difficult to change what you cannot measure, and by making visible and measuring our food waste, we encourage ourselves to reduce our food waste. It just feels good!'', says Johan Klareus, Head Chef, Marholmen.

Marholmen is a completely unusual island in the Roslagen archipelago with a bridge connection to the mainland. Here there are hotels, cabins, villas, glamping tents, conference, spa, restaurant, pitches, party rooms, hot tubs, sauna, jetties, and own sandy beach. Activities all year round include Marholmen's Mästare, Walking gym, Forest bath, winter bath, barbecue areas, agility course, playgrounds and much more.
