First Hotel G begins collaboration with Generation Waste

We are pleased to announce that First Hotel G is starting a collaboration with Generation Waste. They will start measuring their food waste with the Generation Waste measuring tool in 2023 and are thus taking their sustainability work to new heights.

First Hotels is a Nordic hotel chain with a solid hotel portfolio of 24 hotels in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. The portfolio consists of unique and local hotels, which offer personal and memorable stays. First Hotel G is a Franchise hotel for First Hotels, located at the Central Station in Gothenburg.

With the Generation Waste measuring tool, the chefs record all food that must be thrown away, both in serving and in the kitchen. Registration takes place smoothly via a computer, iPad, or smartphone. Via our web portal, both managers and chefs get access to daily statistics. Through this, the opportunity is created to take control over both the environmental work and the economy.
