Kafeega UF initiates a collaboration with Generation Waste.
Great news! We assist our customers in recycling coffee grounds into fertilizers and eco-friendly winter road salt alternatives through our collaboration with Kafeega-UF.
A group of five students from Lerums Gymnasium, now in their third year, run a UF company called Kafeega UF. The idea behind the company is to encourage people to think more sustainably and consider their contributions to a more sustainable daily life. The business plan involves collecting ecologically certified coffee grounds from local cafes in Lerums municipality, drying, repackaging, and selling them, all while informing others about the various uses of coffee grounds. Examples of these uses include fertilizers and a winter road salt substitute.
We are delighted to collaborate with Kafeega and support the younger generations. Together, we make a difference.
