If you buy prawns with shells, of course, take care of the shells. Lightly fry them with butter, pour over a little cream and make a tasty soup or sauce. If, on the other hand, you buy peeled prawns at the mill, you just have to use the spade and conjure up a creamy, good soup.
Ingredients
1.5 dl shrimp paste, or layer
15 g of butter
0.5 yellow onion
0.5 cloves of garlic
0.5 tbsp tomato paste
1.5 dl whipping cream
1 DL of milk
Salt, pepper, and chili flakes
Dill, croutons, and maybe some prawns as garnish
Steps:
Peel and finely chop the yellow onion and garlic
Sauté the onion and tomato puree in butter on medium heat for a couple of minutes
Add the shrimp paste, the cream, and the milk and let it cook for about 20 minutes
Season with salt, pepper, and some chili flakes
Blend the soup and pour it into a small bowl or espresso cup
Enjoy the soup as is, or top it with dill and croutons
For extra festivity, you can also chop some prawns and put them on top
